What do ghosts and tutus have in common? The Gypsy Parlor (obviously)!
Even though the Gypsy Parlor only opened in 2013, the building dates back to 1890 and is now the home to one of the hottest bars in the West Side of Buffalo.
When you enter the Gypsy Parlor, it is like walking back in time with old photos on the wall, dim lighting, Victorian furniture, and even a billiards room off to the side. Gabrielle Mattina has created a watering hole that offers unique dishes inspired by cuisines from all over the world, including the Gypsy Parlor’s famous stuffed bread, pastelillos, and Gypsy Juice.
Renovations and tarot card readers have stirred up activity in this place. If you’re looking to hear a good story, come down for their famous Tutu Tuesday! Drinks and pastelillos are $2 (but only if you wear a tutu) and the bartenders are some of the best storytellers around.
